UNPARALLELED ANATOMIC AND MOLECULAR PATHOLOGY SERVICES

DCL’s involvement in providing Anatomic and Molecular Pathology (AP and MP) services to clinical trials clients arose from an understanding of the inherent differences between clinical and anatomic pathology specimen types, collection approaches, and especially data resulting.  Complex textual phrases characterize AP diagnoses and were traditionally extracted manually from AP reports and entered into sponsor databases.  DCL has developed an electronic approach to this issue that streamlines data capture and expedites report resulting to investigator sites and data transmission to central labs.  The outcome results in decreased time to NDA and reduced capital expenditures to capture these data.
