DCL developed a process in 1994 to evaluate endometrial biopsies using DCL and external independent readers in accordance with FDA guidance.
DCL introduced the ThinPrep® Pap test™ to the Midwest region in 1997.
In 2002, DCL was the first laboratory in the Midwest region to offer Chlamydia and Gonorrhea testing directly from the ThinPrep® Pap test™ specimen.
In 2004, DCL also became one of the first laboratories in the Midwest region to introduce ThinPrep® image assisted analysis.
DCL implemented a method for processing and sectioning tissue blocks in a controlled environment for subsequent PCR analysis.
